2000's - LaTTER YEARS REVISITNG OLD MEDIUMS
With the onset of advancing age diminishing her eyesight and her physcality, Gladys revisited some of her earlier mediums creating mixed meediums in colored pencils and crayola lending her hand to producing various still lives.

She continued on of course with her watercolors producing many scenes from an archive of photo imagery collected over previous years of onsite explorations.

The Mouse And The Grasshopper, Watercolor on Watercolor Paper
This is the last art project that Gladys created. Her early career as a commercial artist working in the 1950's had her producing children's books. She wrote a fable-like story about a grasshopper and mouse where each consider the pitfalls of life. The image above was to be the books cover.
